This incredible hotel was our last hotel that we stayed in on our 1 month trip to Vietnam. We were very impressed with the level of customer service we received! The location of the hotel in Sa Pa is close enough for a quick walk downtown but far enough away from the noise and flood of tourists. The first thing we were blown away with was the room they upgraded us to for our 25th wedding anniversary! We had the pleasure of having Miss River take care of us on our entire stay! Not only were we upgraded to a beautiful room, the housekeeping team surprised us with an incredible “Happy Anniversary” message on our bed! Very romantic and I think I scored a few brownie points! (Happy wife, happy life!) We also were impressed when we noticed that many of the places we wanted to visit, upon more investigation, appeared to be your typical tourist traps that I would consider not to be a “REAL” Vietnam experience. When we approached Miss River about this, she immediately knew exactly what we wanted. She put together an itinerary that had a private tour guide taking us to several of the different villages and we really had an immersive experience of the local life in and around Sa Pa. We trekked through the terraced fields, visited shops and even had the chance to visit a school where we purchased and handed out candy to the kids! Not sure who was more excited to see who. Our second day we visited Love Waterfall and another village further away where we were invited into a local home and had dinner with our tour guide’s family. It’s hard to put into words how grateful we were to be able to experience this! Our final big “WIN” on this trip was Miss River booking us into the hotel’s spa for a back, shoulder, neck and foot massage! What a way to end our trip after hiking around Sa Pa! It was probably one of the best massages I’ve had in my life! The food and beverage team was amazing and accommodating and the food incredible as well!

From the moment we checked in we had a fantastic experience, the lovely River on reception was so friendly and helpful making sure we had all the information we needed for our stay and gave us an amazing room with a balcony facing the mountains. The view was exceptional. When you book do make sure that your description of the view is the mountain and not the rock face. The rooms are stocked with a large bottle and two small bottles of water every day as well as a can of Coke and a beer. Simple but a nice touch. Breakfast was lovely, a small but delicious and fresh selection of hot and cold food/fruits/cereal and the ability to order eggs/pancakes cooked fresh. All the staff were lovely but especially Hanh. I asked for some ice and Xe in the bar gave me an ice bucket and nice glasses for the room. It honestly felt like nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t use the spa or the pool as we were busy sightseeing during the day but my boyfriend said the gym was great. The hotel was located about 10 minutes walk from Sapa station which meant it was close enough to centre but far enough to not be disturbed by the noise. Another reason I have to call out the fantastic service from River on reception was that my boyfriend left his AirPods in the private taxi we got from Ha Long. We were struggling to make contact with the driver but River took over and made a number of attempts. I have no idea how she did it but the next day the AirPods were delivered to reception at a cost of only 50k (dong) I was blown away. They organised a taxi to the station and the price was inline with Grab (normally private cars are more expensive) I would absolutely recommend this hotel.

I loved the view of the mountains from my room! It was so refreshing and relaxing to sit on the balcony in the mornings. The staff were friendly and kind always smiling! I really liked the design of the decoration and the shower and bathroom was a dream! The location is great especially if you want peace and quiet it’s only a 10 min walk to the town. The towels and sheets were perfect and house keeping brilliant with a couple of complimentary cold drinks in the mini bar. Which was great for my hiking in the mountains. I didn’t use the gym or spa but it looked great and there is a pool, it’s not heated. The breakfast was great too! I wish it was until 10am or 10:30am but it ok I think it’s common here to finish at 9:30am.

The hotel was lovely, our room was extremely clean and we had a wonderful view looking out onto the mountains from our balcony. We enjoyed the breakfast and dinner that the hotel provided. The staff were all very helpful during our stay, especially Hanh who took the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The location was excellent as it was a short walk away from the main centre of Sapa but still tucked away in a quiet area making it very easy to relax and sleep! Sapa is very busy at night time so this hotel was perfectly located.

We were very comfortable in the room. Bed was huge and the room very plush. Balcony view was a nice treat although it was mostly misty so we didn't see much but that's more a winter issue than a hotel issue. Staff were very attentive and we really enjoyed the meals and the hospitality. The main town was within walking distance but you get the feeling of being a bit more removed from the hustle and bustle which was a bonus.
